The Ask:

• Build brand awareness for Astral Pipes around the Women Defecation Campaign
• Promote awareness around women’s hygiene issues and encourage construction of toilets
• Create engaging conversations on Twitter around #EveryWomansRight

What we did:

• Astral Pipes created a moving film that highlights the burgeoning issue of open defecation in India. To propagate the idea of #EveryWomansRight, we leveraged relevant celebrities and premium Twitter influencers to talk about Women Rights, Health, Hygiene etc.
• Astral Pipes in association with Women’s Web hosted a Twitter Chat inviting women around the country to share their stories around #EveryWomansRight, Safety, Health and Sanitation.

Results:

• Tweets – 9000+ through influencers
• Total Video Views: 9.5M+ on Facebook, Twitter & YouTube
